2008 PHILLY AUTO SHOW

Every year this has become a tradition for us. We eat Breakfast across the street at the Amish place which has the best breakfast! Then we spend the afternoon at the car show. This year's car show was disappointing to us as they didn't have the cars we were expecting to see. The Chicago Auto show goes the same time as Philly and that's where alot of the 2009 cars are at as they draw a bigger crowd than Philadelphia apparently. So our stay at this year's show was short!

I think "she" notices Jim love for the Corvette! This was the only car at the show that he actually drooled over!

WICKED on Broadway in New York City

What a most exciting treat for me!! Jim surprised me on our 34th anniversary when he took me to the Gershwin Theater to see the awesome WICKED!!

The Gershwin Theatre was named in honor of one of America's greatest composers, George Gershwin, and his brother, lyricist Ira Gershwin. The theatre's rotunda was designed to showcase the names and photographs of Broadway's own Theater Hall of Fame.Theatre audiences now enjoy an exhibition on display throughout the main lobby of costumes, opening night gifts, props, stage notes, and other items from the personal collections of such Broadway luminaries as Carol Channing, Julie Harris, Lynn Fontanne, Angela Lansbury, Bernadette Peters, John Raitt, Chita Rivera, Tommy Tune, Irene Worth and many others. The Gershwin opened in 1972 with 1,900 seats, and is one of The Nederlander Organization's nine Broadway theatres. What's it about?Long before Dorothy drops in, two girls meet in the land of Oz. One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. Wicked tells the story of how these two unlikely friends grew to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch.

The Wicked Witch of the West

This girl had the most amazing singing voice!! Such Control!!

GOOD WITCH, BAD WITCH

Ga-Linda and the Wicked Witch of the West....I just need to say here that they both were great actresses in this play. They played their parts very well!!
